Re: Prestige Games

"Trying to win an Oscar" is a fairly derogatory and short-sighted way to define some of the best film making of the past couple of decades... I agree. Studio shareholders and Executive Producers would like to make back the cost of the movie in less than a week, rather than winning an awar...

Re: New Court Ruling Could Affect Used Game Business?

Publishers would be biting the hands that feed them if they even tried to enforce games as a license. True, but how often does a suit make an out of touch decision? Re: Namco Arcade Stick or Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Stick?

That Namco stick looks pretty tight, I'm jealous. He doesn't own one yet, that's the pic from the wiki entry. I used it when I was looking for one in my WTB thread last year. Namco Arcade Stick or Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Stick?

I've got both the Namco Arcade Stick and the Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Fighting Stick

Any opinions as to which is better? Which should I spend my time with for fighting games?

Ideas, opinions, tips, or info appreciated!

Re: Addictive Puzzle Games that aren't Tetris

My personal favorite is "Roll Away" on the Playstation.

When I play, I keep thinking what it would be like to be a beach ball...

Honorable mentions:
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo (PS1)
Dr. Mario 64 (N64)
Yoshi (Game Boy)

Re: First edition SNES with Mitsumi manufactured sound module

These SNES models aren't rare, I own two. Nintendo manufactured the audio chips on the SNES like this until 1993-1994. Also, get yourself a real Genesis and you'll hear the difference. Early Model 1 consoles sound amazing while later Model 1's and most Model 2's until 1995 were crap thanks to a man...
