on the 32 pin model 2 it won't even allow it to play the original games or back ups without the cartige I have a feeling the modchip isn't working corectly the 64 pin one I have a jap swith installed and it won't work on that unit. Hello, I soldered a switch in for Japan region and works great the 4meg cartige that came with the game doesn't work all the time I tried cleaning the contacts with a eraser.
