GBC issue - only certain games load
Hi all, Having trouble with my dandelion yellow GBC. It will boot certain games, but others not at all. Specifically, Game and Watch Gallery 2 (GBC) and Rocky and Bullwinkle (GB) will load just fine; but Pokémon Trading Card Game (GBC) won't load past the "GAME BOY (nintendo)" screen. Howe...

Re: Virtual Boy Homebrew not functioning
Hey, no problem, I just remembered I made this thread myself
Yes, unlike every other cart, it doesn't even register that a game is inside when turned on. Tried blowing, cleaning, etc. Hopefully not a lost cause? It looks like it would be really fun to play on the hardware.

Virtual Boy Homebrew not functioning
Hi all, bought a used repro of Bound High on eBay a few years back-- by the time I got around to getting the VB fixed, I realized the game didn't work, but it was way too late to contact the seller. Anyone have experience fixing a repro'd game cart?

+1 Ziggy587 - Can I give more than that? Securely packaged, lightning-fast shipping, great communication, nice bonus repro case for one of the games. Reminded me of why forums are such a great place to carry out business like this. Thanks!

Sega Ages Phantasy Star - Anyone else having problems?
I purchased Sega Ages Phantasy Star on switch and have been having issues with the game registering inputs I'm not making. For example, the main menu scrolls out of control when the stick is stationary; likewise, I have to fight to keep my character going in the correct direction while I'm playing. ...

Re: Game evangelism: Unsung, weird, or bad games you promote
The Nightmare on Elm Street game on NES is not only fairly faithful to the third (and best) movie, it's a great game to play with friends that actually gets better with more people. Unfairly maligned! Also, I can't say it enough, Kolibri for the 32X. IF it ever gets brought up, it's as a gag, but it...

Re: Modded Game Gear? Or Mk. III?
Thanks for the tips Nemoid! I'm not too hard-pressed to get perfect sound (or even visuals) as far as a console option goes, since I'll be using an old-school CRT– and not a particularly nice one . Similarly, I am definitely a cartridge-based gamer. The flash cart simply provides too many options an...

Re: Dinosaur Planet released
So cool. I was under the impression that we would never ever see this and yet I'm watching a playthrough in chunks with my morning coffee. Just goes to show that anything's possible in this biz.
