Ok, thank you for the advice everyone, I'm more reassured, but I'm still kinda skeptical on installing again. Oh well, when my next saturn arrives, I'll just have to give it another go, this time being more careful. EDIT: Also, could someone post a working link to the AB method or whatever it's call...

Mod chip acccident!
Hello, on the troubleshooting page, I posted the comment about the two pins that were connected with solder on accident. Also the pins were touched for an extensive period of time with the soldering iron, so I'm assuming my Saturn's CD drive is dead. I also desoldered the chip and plugged the CD rib...

IC pins touched?
If the IC pins of the Mod Chip touched the metal casing of my Saturn, and I connected it to a different Saturn, would it ruin the Saturn if the chip was shorted, or just not work?
