Saturn VCD Card - improve cut scenes and FMV?
anyone know if having a VCD card installed in your saturn improves cut scenes and FMV sequences etc? Radiant Silvergun has some good cut scenes, but desperately needs sharpening. Also would it be all cut scenes/graphics or just MPEG 1 stuff? i dont really know what i'm talking about to be honest. bu...

Re: How to burn Saturn games on a Mac with Toast
you don't need a mod chip to play CD-Rs, just do the swap method. I'm playing games from all regions on my UK saturn, but i do have a Action Replay cart. there's probably some mega chip that will do it all, play CD-Rs without the swap and play imports, but you've gotta get urself a 4MB RAM cart for ...

Re: Burning Dreamcast Games on a MAC
i tried once, and will admit i have a street fighter 3 coaster at home. i dont know why people don't just create/upload an image, and simply say 'burn that', everything i found was all 'CD-ROM X audio gaps etc etc etc'. my brief attempt ended in failure, haven't tried recently tho as my DC is many m...

How to burn Saturn games on a Mac with Toast
I was a bit reluctant to try the swap method - i thought i'd probably balls up the burning of the disc (i'm on a mac, and tutorials are much harder to find), and i didnt want to screw up my saturn motor by cocking it up multiple times. I thought i'd give it a go anyway, and wadda know it worked perf...

Re: PANZER DRAGOON: SAGA vs AZEL/RPG (English?)
i'm all about packaging, anytime any CD album gets released with a DVD special edition im the same, gotta own the legit best version possible. although a mod looks easy, and sounds nice as Radiant Silvergun, PDS are well over £100, and SF Zero 3 and loads of great 2DShmups that you guys have recomme...

PANZER DRAGOON: SAGA vs AZEL/RPG (English?)
i know we ALL want a copy of PDS for our US and UK saturns, but does anyone know know if the Jap version AZEL: PANZER DRAGOON RPG can be changed to English? You can pick it up on eBay for about £20, bargain, although i doubt the language could be changed dur to the amount of text. satakore.com has n...

Re: Saturn 2D shmups that won't break the bank
wow guys 11 replies! i didnt expect any! cheers!
loads of the games still seem to want 30 of my fine english pounds, but layer section and darius gaiden are about 11/12 quid (about 20 bucks), so thats not too bad.
thanks again!!

Saturn 2D shmups that won't break the bank
believe me, i'd love to get my hands on Radiant Silvergun , but at the moment i can't justify the £150. anyone know of any good 2D shmups to get me started, for relatively cheap? i've just got an action replay cart so games from any region will suffice. i've looked at a few games on the list of hidd...
