Re: Top 10 Run 'N Guns for 8- and 16-bit Consoles
Every single game I can find that has a multi-directional shooting mechanic and is of the overhead perspective (though sometimes isometric). Be it Asteroids, Gauntlet, Bosconian, Pocky and Rocky, Robotron, Sinistar, Alien Breed, Ikari Warriors, or Chaos Engine. I posted it mostly to aid Timewarpgame...

Re: Top 10 Run 'N Guns for 8- and 16-bit Consoles
Not sure if anyone is particularly interested, but I'm in the process of compiling a far more comprehensive list than what Magnum Opus had. m That is a very old revision of my current spreadsheet. It's a list of every game for every platform for every region that I have found up to that point. There...

Re: Dedicated "What Is This Worth?" Thread
I have a random item that I can't seem to find the value on. I have a sealed De La Jet Set Radio. It's not the premium box, mind you. It's just the regular De La Jet Set. It's one of the only items that I have not seen another sealed one pop up on eBay in some time. No help for me then? Maybe no on...

Re: Equipment Suggestions
From a pure mastering standpoint, and considering you are using Audacity, I'd seriously suggest using the Normalize filter. Audacity is a very decent tool considering that it's free. Normalize takes a recording and evens out the levels so everyone is consistently the same volume. It doesn't really d...

I've actually had these fears for a while, which is why I'm trying to stockpile a few decent regular definition tube TVs.
Hopefully they'll last long enough where I won't care anymore.

Hello. My name is Jon and I've been a reader of the site for quite some time. I've just been too lazy to actually register a forum account. I found this site probably around a year ago, and I genuinely enjoy the content. Quality stuff, it is. As for myself, I've been gaming for more or less all my l...
