Re: Ideas for running a "Classic Game Idea" contest
No worries. I guess I need to just come up with the rules and prizes and then just announce it. I thought people would have some suggestions for prizes. Oh well. Thanks!

Re: What is the best Mario Party game?
I had a lot of fun with Mario Party 4. It didn't seem to be as crazy with the handing out random stars at the end as the later games.

You NEED to add Link's Awakening to your list. It's short and pretty easy, but it's possibly my favorite Zelda game. And the ending song (Ballad of the Wind Fish) is worth it for the play through alone.
Also Oracle of Seasons. Amazing and totally underrated as well.

Re: Does anyone like Playntrade?
I love the Play'n Trade in my town. Prices are great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I try to buy from them as much as possible to support the local owners. Just wish they had more NES games, but I've gotten quite a few good deals. The Play'n Trade 13 miles down the road however... tota...

Re: Ideas for running a "Classic Game Idea" contest
Yea Wreck It Ralph did it first, but the movies couldn't be more different fortunately. Mine is a live action comedy (best described as a mix of Arrested Development, Groundhog Day, and The Wizard). Got some great actors interested, but needing to wait until the script is finished before I can get s...

Screwattack Convention is coming back this next summer! I had a blast at SGC 2010 and hope I get a chance to go back there next year.
These pics sum up the awesomeness.

Re: "Upgrade" to 3DS XL or not?
I upgraded and I absolutely love it. Everything looks better. DS games look great if you play it at the original size (ie not scaled). I always playing it like that on the original was too small. The biggest thing I like though is the d-pad placement. I can actually reach it and still hold the syste...

Re: Local Retro Gaming Clubs/Groups
I wish there was something like that where I live. I've long since moved away from the close friends I had in high school and college that played retro games with me. The local library here has a video game night but it's only for teenagers Summer of 2004.... what a great time. Just hung out and pla...
