Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
@KingSudlow - Nice! Sounds like an awesome used games store. We have a topic about them pinned. If you remember next time you're there, I'd love to see some pictures.

Re: Post a picture of yourself...no not a damn mug
I like your tie. Very dapper. I've never been bold enough to wear any neck or hand adornments. It was well into my 20's when I decided to wear anything other than all black denim and plain black t-shirts or hoodless sweat shirts. Now I mostly only wear retro-themed or meme printed t-shirts. At this ...

Re: Why do people like roguelikes?
When I was really into Roguelikes, it was because they were, at the time, the big open-world sandbox games where you could do anything, and if you built strategies to deal with the insanely hard enemies and parts of the map, you could eventually become godlike. Just like Nintendo-hard platformers wh...

Re: Streaming music
If you dislike command-line stuff as I do, and also repeatedly downloading updates manually, check out Open Youtube Downloader GUI. https://github.com/StefanLobbenmeier/youtube-dl-gui It keeps it up to date, allows simple conversion to audio etc, and doesn't make you type. You can even add authentic...

Re: Ninten-Drawer - A New 72-Pin Connector for the NES
I saw it! This is really cool. I think this is going into one of the opened-up corpses of NES's that I started modding a few years ago. Expect one in the next charity auction. My goal is to get rid of the boxes of cadavers this year. There seems to be a pile of RGB mod NES kit parts and stuff I over...

Re: Streaming music
I still prefer to have all music in file form. I absolutely cannot stand ads or low bitrate slush-sounding music. I also hate Radio. I don't know how my mom enjoys that mess. My brother and I spend long road trips to and from jobs revising or adding to our collective music library, tho both of us ha...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I offhandedly said to my friend one day that he should go into a trade. This guy's 42, living on welfare in his mom's basement and is business manager of a failed supplement and energy drink company that IMO he is not fit to manage. Surprisingly, he said "Okay, what do I do?". I got him in...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I'm not super critical of d-pads, but I found the ones in the Anbernic handhelds I've played with to be comfortable and good. I did see a product to fix accidental diagonals in the older Anbernic devices, tho I didn't notice this problem: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1458001825/dpad-fix-by-better...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
>looks up price of the newest raspberry pi Those Linux handhelds are getting pretty advanced - The Anbernic RG35XX+ can do HDMI out, and bluetooth controller pairing. I got a dual-analog bluetooth controller for the vertical digital only model to control the PS1, PSP, N64 & Dreamcast games that...
