Re: The Official Nathan Barnatt Rise to Fame/Appreciation Th
Mild bump, but I was pretty giddy with a blast from the past when I saw Nathan in a recent episode of Always Sunny. For nostalgia purposes, I then watched his Kimberly Cole music video audition, which is also fantastic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IixQox4rhEw. Miss you Nathan!

Re: SNES Code Injection
That guy took this idea so far that he's 'modded' (using the same code injection tricks) SMW to use a SNES controller with a number pad so that he can then write more mods more easily. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_Bu815G5FE Coming up next - the inevitable Doom to Super Mario World port.

Re: Terra Onion Mega SD
Stone Age Gamer has said that they'll be carrying them [https://stoneagegamer.com/blog/say-hello-to-the-megasd/]. Given that they're a full fledged distributor (in the USA), if you live there as well you might be better off waiting for them to start selling the units. Not a knock against Terraonion,...

Re: Sony sells all of its Square Enix stock
I think I would also see this as more of a strategy for Sony to stay in a black than any sort of lack of confidence in Square Enix, as their cash reserves have been dwindling pretty quickly in recent years. (As an interesting side note, as of about a month ago, Nintendo was trading at 11,910 yen / s...

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
I just finished Suikoden II, again - I think the last time I played it was when I was a kid, ~2003 or so. Fantastic even 10 years later. I'll try for Suikoden III next, or the FFX remake.

Re: Should I just emulate?
For what it's worth, I recently went through the somewhat difficult task of selling all the games I own (save for the very brand new stuff). I was pretty afraid of doing so at first, since I kind of saw it as selling away my childhood, but I've been playing games emulated since then and it's every b...

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Started playing Xenoblade - I was very unimpressed for the first 3 or 4 hours, but I am really glad I stuck it out - I seem to like it as much as everyone else does, at least. Also started Jeanne d'Arc on the PSP - I've had a PSP since launch, but have finished (or even played with some amount of se...

I just started this a week or 2 ago - I'm on the 6th episode of the first season. It took a couple episodes to pick up, but I'm digging it so far

My ferrets - Iko, and Ghaleon. People seem to take the view that they're just long rats, but I think they're awesome pets http://i.imgur.com/m0DRz.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pqM22.jpg Ghaleon http://i.imgur.com/vLL40.jpg Iko. Pissed off, but he's accepted his fate.

Re: The Humble Indie Bundle V is LIVE!
Probably the best one yet (although, last one's was still good, with Super Meat Boy and Jamestown...) I don't think there's any game in here that wasn't generally considered great, or at least really really good. Although, Sword and Sworcery still seems like the most ridiculously hipster thing ever ...
