Re: Saving Every Sega Genesis Manual On The Internet
I have Instruments of Chaos Starring Young Indiana Jones. There's also a promotional flyer for the Gargoyles cartoon. I'll scan and email.

I'm under the impression that tournaments are starting to allow whatever type of controller as long as you can demonstrate input cleaning and that there's no way to disable it (perhaps a tall order).

Re: Street Fighter Questions
I'd love to try a Hitbox! They're just such a huge investment... If I actually wanted to play competitively I might spring for one.

Re: Street Fighter Questions
I wish a keyboard was viable for me (what with all the arcade emulators at a PC's disposal). It also would have made the DOS port of SSFIIT a good option back in the day. But keyboards are as bad or worse than a joystick for me. Maybe if I was forced into it, but I would never do it by choice. Ther...

Re: Street Fighter Questions
One input method you might consider is keyboard. I'm totally serious. The ability to do this will depend on your kit, but if you're emulating on PC it's obviously super convenient. As long as you don't intend to bring your skills to a local arcade or convention--you mentioned not wanting to use an a...

Wondering if you still play/intend to play and acquire newer games, but just don't count those acquisitions as collecting? If so, why not?

Re: Long term collecting goals?
Good topic! I've been thinking about this a lot over the last couple of years. My collecting goals are really more parameters. ⋅ I have four 1x3 ft shelves. All of my collected games and consoles must fit. ⋅ All games must have at least one "partner" game in order to cr...

Final 2? I haven't. Been concentrating on older stuff. I've heard mixed opinions about it, though.
Worthwhile?

I've enjoyed playing some shmups more recently too and although I'm not too good at the genre yet, I was actually able to finish a few last year. It's surprised me how deep the gameplay is in many shmups if you look for it. I've set out to learn how to play a few for score (not necessarily to get a...

Re: Is physical media for modern consoles worth it?
Yeah, I read that about the Switch carts after I popped in Rime and it basically had to download the whole game. IIRC there was some controversy that Nintendo's supplier couldn't even provide carts >32GB for a while. Reminded me of when people talked about cart sizes for the N64 and Neo Geo like the...
