Re: Together Retro: Riviera The Promised Land

I'll definitely keep at it for awhile then. How long is the game?

Re: Together Retro: Riviera The Promised Land

I had just started Wild Arms XF on the PSP when I saw that the new Together Retro was Riviera. I decided to put Wild Arms XF on hold and start up Riviera(PSP version). After 2.5 hours I have found the game to be very slow in all aspects and kind of boring. I also wish I had more control over the cha...

Re: Together Retro Grows--Two Games at Once!

Did you decide to ditch the idea of doing two games at once? If so, I can respect your decision.

I am 20 hours in and really like it. The story is good but it does drag on a bit. It seems like I can play for several hours and not get very far.

I have to say that I really like this new format as it will help me finish games.

I agree. I would have no problem doing a write up again. Maybe include the top three games outside of Zelda:

Valkyrie Profile
Shining Force
Phantasy Star

I would say if Shining Force or Phantasy Star wins, we can then decide which one in the series we want to play.

There will be a write up coming soon. I was worried that with Zelda winning alot of people would be upset as many have beaten it already. It was not my choice either. I put the poll in place for the community to decide which game they wanted to play. Zelda won by one vote. Unfortunately, many people...

Well at least you can chime in with your thoughts at least.

I figure this game won't take as long so I will probably give us around a month to finish it instead of two.

Zelda Wins Together Retro-Extended Version Poll

Zelda wins. I have to say that I am pleased with the choice as I have always wanted to beat this game but still have not done so. It may not be a hard-core RPG but it is a nice way to ease into playing two games at once. I am doing the write up on it today so we should be able to get started by this...

Xenogears

I voted for Xenogears as I just started it after Lunar. We'll see if it wins!
