Re: PS2 and Wii Component Issues with Sony Bravia
The picture displaying actual 16:9 and actually filling the screen is the main problem. Ah, sorry, I guess I glossed over that point. Yeah, it sounds like the TV is to blame. Is there no way to manual select an aspect ratio setting on the TV though? Most TVs have this, but I have come across a few ...

SNES Code Injection
Hey guys. I found this video on YouTube a while back and saw it again today. It's just as mind blowing to me now as it was the first time.
I never would have thought that you could ever do something like this with just a SNES and a copy of Super Mario World.

Re: video editing software, digital cams, and microphones, ?
I know! See, the thing is, it seems like there's no middle ground right now. If I'm a professional and I'm using the software many hours every day or week, then I could justify the monthly subscription fee. But if I'm doing it on a hobbyist level, $20+/mo for a single piece of software is just too ...

Re: POOPIESkillz Gaming
What direction do you see the channel going in? Well, I have a broad set of interests in general as well as with gaming specifically. I can go in the direction of lets plays or reviews, or pickups and discussion kind of like Happy Console Gamer. I think the latter feels the most natural to me but t...

Re: PS2 and Wii Component Issues with Sony Bravia
For the Wii, since you're using component cables, do you have the output set to 480p? As for the PS2, you can force progressive scan output using software called GS Mode Selector (which I believe is an option included in Open PS2 Loader now). A cheap component to HDMI adapter might also solve your ...

Re: Does Assassin's Creed get better or slowly worse?
I got Assassin's Creed 1 when Revelations came out. I thought it was kinda bad and ridiculously shallow and repetitive but I thought the actual assassinations that were done at the end of each segment were awesome and they kept me going. I'd give it maybe a 7/10. Assassin's Creed II was amazing to ...

I was messing around with Lightworks for a while. I wasn't a huge fan of the workspace. It seemed overly complicated. But more importantly, the free version has some important limitations to note. m You can only export a project to YouTube or Vimeo, and only up to 720p. There are other limitations,...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I agree, the PS4 Pro not playing UHD Blu-rays is pretty lame. Maybe I'm just crazy, but the PS4 doesn't seem like a great blu-ray player in general. The audio for me seems crazy quiet and I've tried every setting I could find. I don't remember my PS3 Slim having this issue.

Video Editing: So I picked up Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2019 when Adobe was running a sale. Photoshop Elements I'm not a fan of, but I was using an old full version. Premiere Elements though, maybe I'm just naive to video editing but it seems like it'll do. I've never used the full vers...
