Re: Shaken, not stirred

I'm on a mobile device so just a quick update post for now. Thank you, everyone, (especially Ziggy) for all the info. I don't think I'm planning on watching every single film but I wanted to at least view the first one. I finished Dr. No last night. It was just okay. Not sure why Bond feels the need...

Shaken, not stirred

My first experience with the Bond series was, like many young people at the time, the Goldeneye video game for the N64. It wasn't until around 2015 or so that I actually watched my first Bond film. I viewed Goldeneye on the "definitive" format of VHS because I just so happened to have foun...

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

It's great if you love camp. Even just the more minor touches of his performance of his stares during the closeups were entertaining to see. I don't even know if I'd call it "campy". I think it edges closer to "awkward" than anything. But I will admit it was kind of funny that D...

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

Just finished Dracula (1931) starring Bela Lugosi. Waste of time. It doesn't even touch the masterpiece that is Nosferatu (which doesn't even have spoken lines, by the way). Dracula just kind of peters out at the end. And no dramatic death scene? Really? All this build up and just a grunt off-scene?...

Re: Together Retro 2025 and Beyond...

I feel you on the whole "adulting" thing. Little time/energy. Like, I have to be able to both play games and sit down to compose some thoughts. That time has shrunk pretty drastically lately. lol A quarterly schedule feels more flexible to me. (This sounds so business-like, lol) Just reite...

Re: Games Beaten 2024

Donkey Kong Country - SNES I guess this is this first game I've beaten this year? edit: Apparently I beat other stuff; just haven't kept track lol If we were back in the 90's I'd tell you to just rent this one. The difficulty is all over the place. Some levels you'll breeze through with no issues a...

I don't like that we can't add that space between a quote and new text. I'm on RB Prosilver Dark.

Re: Streaming music

Glad you're enjoying it! I initially discovered it back when I had an iPhone and got fed up with iTunes (various issues). I always use VLC on a computer so I was surprised to learn of an app. Haven't looked back since.
