Re: I just bought an oXbox for the first time (sorta)

Real talk: which controller are you rockin'? I could barely tolerate the original controller. Once the small one released, the tank controller was relegated to whomever forgot to bring their own. lol  Right now I'm using the S type controller. I'd like to pick up a backup, you know how sticks ...

Re: I just bought an oXbox for the first time (sorta)

Ohhh nice, what softmod is on that 2nd console? Yes, on unleashedX I always cranked my fan speed up to 80% IIRC. Kept it much cooler. So, while I wouldn't recommend to push it, if the system begins to overheat, the LED indicators will flash red and turn the system off. This is how I first noticed m...

Re: I just bought an oXbox for the first time (sorta)

Turns out it's a mistake to replace the case fan on a stock console. The 60mm Noctua simply doesn't move enough air compared to the stock 72mm fan. I've read that on a modded console you can increase the fan speed to compensate, but you cannot do that on a stock console (obviously). I was gaming for...

Re: I just bought an oXbox for the first time (sorta)

You all already know I'm crazy, so I don't have to hide it. I got another Xbox! https://i.imgur.com/5nHdW5l.jpg As previously mentioned, eBay listings for an Xbox that is listed as tested/working goes for around $100. But you can certainly get one cheaper than that, it's just most likely untes...

No worries, just a suggestion, not a demand! :D

Re: Limited Run Games shipped CD-Rs to customers

My opinion would be that if they were up front about the discs being CD-Rs, you could have made an informed decision when purchasing it. Maybe some people wouldn't have cared. But yeah, I think the main concern would be the longevity of a CD-R versus a pressed disc. Limited Run seems like a premium ...

Re: Recapping and Consolizing a Game Gear (WIP)

I hit a minor snag, but I've made progress anyway. I started to install the controller mod board. First I soldered all of the wires to the GG motherboard, then I wanted to test it before going any further. And the GG was dead LOL. I was pretty annoyed, because it was only a few wires, and I was sure...

Re: NEW RB Server - Forum Upgrade - Some WIP

I think I fixed it?!?! Can somebody confirm? Seems to be working on my end. Speaking of, and since you were talking about the front page with Anapan... I don't know if you have any changes or tweaks planned for the front page, either soon or at some point in the future, but my suggestion would be t...
