Re: I just bought an oXbox for the first time (sorta)

I decided to mess around with different installer discs and other things. I'm just trying to decide which BIOS and dashboard I want before I go ahead and put a new HDD in there. With the mod chip installed, you cannot flash the TSOP in the Xbox. So what I might end up doing is restoring the HDD to f...

Re: I just bought an oXbox for the first time (sorta)

https://i.imgur.com/rbPDb3E.jpeg I installed the mod chip in my 1.0 Xbox yesterday. After fiddling with it and learning more, I think the mod chip is really unnecessary unless you have a 1.6 revision console. So the Xbox has a TSOP chip which stores the BIOS (hence why people say "TSOP modded&...

Re: New Forum Themes/Styles Feedback

Looking good! I really missed not being able to navigate back to the main site from the forum.

I'm still digging Milk though because of the font size.

Re: What are you playing?

I’m not as into it as I’d like, but this has happened to me with better games, too. It’s about timing. If the game slows down and my life happens to change a little around that time I can just get derailed. That's actually a big problem with me, and why I play so little RPGs. If I know I can't dedi...

Re: Castlevania Appreciation Thread

Yeah, I legit don't remember other anime cutscenes from Rondo but most of my experience with Rondo has been the PSP version (and now the PS4 port of said version). So it makes since I don't remember other scenes if they exist in the original. I know I've played some of the original Rondo on an emul...

Re: Castlevania Appreciation Thread

Is it similar to the The Dracula X Chronicles on the PSP? I played Rondo on that and was wondering if it was worth hunting this newer version. That version was a remake of Rondo and had the original PC Engine version and a port of SotN as an unlock. Castlevania Requiem is a PS4 collection of Rondo ...

Re: New Forum Themes/Styles Feedback

One thing that I really hated with the preview of Milk is that it had all of the avatars as circles. I thought it would auto crop our avatars to circles, but they all appear as squares or rectangles to me. Maybe that's an option you were able to turn off? It just looks so awful IMO. I like all of th...

Re: Castlevania Appreciation Thread

You know, Ziggy, you could just put the... art of the Castlevania box as your avatar. I was wondering how long it would take someone to look up the UPC. Speaking of avatars... Popo, fix your avatar! Original Rondo also has cutscenes at various points in the game to show aspects of the s...

Re: What are you playing?

Ugh, I hate losing progress like that in an RPG. At least you didn't lose your save entirely. But it sounds like you're just not a big fan of the game anyway.

Re: New Forum Themes/Styles Feedback

Is it me, or is the font size slightly larger on Milk versus ProSilver? I've been having to zoom in to read the forum (using Ctrl + mouse wheel) with ProSilver.
