Re: Music taste and choice of 16bit console

I feel like you have the consoles mixed up personally. I associate the SNES more with rocky soundtracks on games like Mega Man X and Unirally, and the Mega Drive with eloctronic soundtracks like in Streets of Rage. Beat me to it. I don't think of the Genesis as a 'rocker' box if we're sticking with...

Re: So the whole world is kind of falling apart...

Well articulated BMF. It's down to Americans to do the right thing in this election and vote sensibly, as a Brit I'll say you should learn form our lesson; the shambles and complete surprise result we had in Britain after a racist convinced everyone through lies and slander that leaving the EU would...

Music taste and choice of 16bit console

Genesis and Super Nintendo owners preferred music genre survey to test the theory that the Genesis/Megadrive appeals more to Heavy metal/Rock fans and SNES harks to Electronic music tastes such as dance music and hip hop. There's no selection for "I like all music and both consoles" and wh...

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?

I'm too busy trying to learn Japanese for when my Super Famicom copies of Breath of Fire 1+2 arrive. Anyone know if this is still fun for an English speaker? I guess I'll have to make the story up as I play through them, it's often quite fun that way.

Re: Which cartridge based console has the best music?

Much as I love the Neo Geo AES it should be pointed out (apart from the awkward spoken English) why could the sound team not invest in a pop shield to go with any of their mics? Two titles come to mind- Top Players golf and Ninja Combat. I know they're early titles but this rant is long overdue! C'm...

Re: The Comic Book Thread

I found a great comic whilst on holiday in Venice I'd like to recommend, Orfani -Nuovo Mundo -the only trouble is it's in Italian and I can't find an English version. I don't speak Italian but I could follow it and enjoyed the art work so much it is definately worth checking out.

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!

Actually have some great 12" DJ tools by DJ Rectangle which contain loads of streetfighter2 samples. Great to scratch with, I'll get something posted up soon :)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!

Hello, I've been on here a few weeks now and really like the whole vibe. And I've laughed hard at some things on here too! I'm from London, 37 years young, work as a sound engineer and been collecting on and off since as long as I can remember. First console: Philips Videopac Most played console: SN...

Re: Share your best landscape, cityscape, and wildlife photo

I'm quite jealous after looking at the photos in this thread. I'm afraid all I have to offer is this cool pano of Venice and a duck I saw whilst out mtb'ing
