Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Just got over a flu myself, which is also probably a sinus infection now too. I think today was the first I felt fine enough to finally play games in at least 10 days or something. Sickest I've been in ages. I haven't been this sick in years either. Today is day 6 of being knocked on my butt. The s...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

So I got over my flu.

Only to develop a wonderful upper respiratory infection!

So I haven't felt good enough for much more than TV. I can't do video games very well while sick.

I'm so behind on all my work too.

Oh well.

Re: Enough about picture quality, what about sound?

I use adapters to pump everything to my ATH-M50Xs.

I prefer headphones for many reasons. Mostly so I don't have to hear what's going on around me and I'm not bothering anybody else either - and there's no worrying about acoustics or anything like that.

Air Combat was one of my first PS1 games and I'm still a pretty big fan of the series.

The last one I actually played was 6 though.

I hear good things about that 3DS one's "Plus" release. Assault Horizon?

Re: How many of you are actually still using CRT TVs?

It is in fact the very same xbr960 you sold me years back. It has developed a very minor geometry problem in one corner, but that's to be expected over time, and otherwise works perfectly. Love that tv. I'm happy that thing is still kicking around. I routinely kick myself for letting that one go bu...

Re: Games Beaten 2016

Tales from the Borderlands (PC) Marumasa Rebirth (Vita) Guilty Gear Xrd Sign (PS3) A great version of a fantastic fighting game and I'm not just saying that because it's one of the few I can play with any sort of competence. It does have some minor drawbacks to the PS4 version. Performance can get a...

Re: Wisdom teeth removal: The new tonsils?

Hardly. Impacted teeth are excruciating. And the longer you wait to have them pulled, the more painful it is and the longer the healing process gets. Not to mention that if you have a clean line of teeth, whether naturally or through braces, it'll totally screw up their alignment too (I waited about...

How many of you are actually still using CRT TVs?

I was thinking about this as I was perusing NeoGaf (I know). They have a gigantic CRT thread and it got me thinking about those giant monstrosities. I know a lot of members here have liquidated their collection of games by a significant amount but I never see any mention if ya'll got rid of your CRT...

Re: How has your ideal gaming setup or room changed over tim

Ideally, a big OLED TV hanging on the wall with a PlayStation mounted to the back of it.

I like minimal looking setups. No longer do I want a cabinet full of systems or that such nonsense.

Plus studio apartments are cramped as it is.
