Re: Games Beaten 2022

I've been on a real revisit the games of my childhood kick lately. Replayed and completed the original NES Mega Mans 1 thru 6. I haven't touched them in about 10 years. Part 2 & 3 still are my favorite though with 3 edging out by a hair. The rest of them was a fun experience to revisit though. A...

Re: Coronavirus pandemic - how are you affected?

Tested positive in March. It sucked hard. My sense of smell still hasn’t really returned yet. Even then what I can smell smells completely different than before I had Covid. However on the positive side, I have had much more time to focus on my home renovations. Bought a really cool looking old hous...

Re: Console of the Month (Jan 2022): Sega Saturn

I didn't get to play the Saturn until 2009 as I mostly was a Nintendo guy back in the day. I was blown away the moment I fired up Radiant Silvergun and Guardian Heroes. It did have a pretty decent amount of good games given the amount of time it was around. I've been pondering about buying another S...

Re: Do you forget about your digital purchases?

I'm the worst when it comes to digital purchases. I'm newish to PC gaming and those Steam sales have me buying tons of games and completely forgetting about them. That definitely didn't happen when I was all physical games.

Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?

Here's an unpopular opinion - RTS sucks! Nah, I'm just kidding. But I do think the genre as a whole is somewhat overrated. Personally, the only RTS games I ever REALLY liked I can count on one hand and still have a couple of fingers left over. One of them has the word Starcraft in the title and the...

Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?

Another opinion I have regarding Nintendo is they need to make their next system more friendly for 3rd party developers to port games to. I'm not saying exit the hardware business. However, I think it's crucial for them to focus more on new original software and less on gimmicky hardware. Hardware t...

Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?

Sigh... Nintendo releases as many new IPs each year as any other publisher. That many of us overlook them is our fault, not Nintendo's. I said it before but it got overlooked so: Games like Splatoon, Tomodachi Life, Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash, Style Savvy ...
