Re: VHS as a medium

Almost everything uses tons of post nowadays. Most of your TV shows are almost filmed completely on green screens or with partial green screens. It can be cheaper, and can be changed to anything which is why it's a huge fad as opposed to filming on location.

Re: You know, theoretically, maybe COD and MOH are saved!

Respawn would never make more MoH games. Why? Because they're the ones who originally created MoH and then EA did what Activision is doing now. So 2015 Inc. broke up and some of them formed Infinity Ward and then created Call of Duty. These people have made two of the largest FPS series in gaming hi...

Re: Fantastic Mr. Fox movie Review

I have yet to enjoy a Wes Anderson film. I thought Fantastic Fox might be the first, but it ended up disappointing me. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks this either considering only three (and only because Fantastic Mr. Fox finally broke past production costs very recently), out of six of hi...

Re: Need Help Exporting Flash Video

If it opens in Quicktime, get your hands on a copy of Quicktime Pro and convert it again to a .mov and it'll work fine in anything. I've found that exporting to a .mov you often have to export the .mov again in Quicktime or else it won't play in much else. Plus it makes the file size smaller.

Re: formated and capped without hope

Why do you all think this is some terrible thing that doesn't happen in other countries? Time Warner caps, idk what it is anymore, but it use to be 40gb a month. Comcast caps at 250gb a month and after you exceed that twice, goodbye internet. Verizon has been considering a cap for awhile. More and m...

Re: Best Next-Gen System

PS3 handsdown. I completely agree with what people have said before, PS3>Wii>360.
I'll probably never buy a 360 to add to my collection because there's no point in having something you know will break within a couple years.

Re: PSP custom firmware - switching mem sticks

Yeah upgrade to CFW 5.00 M33-6 if you want to stick with the m33 CFW (which there's really no reason not to unless you want access to the PSN store, although I think homebrew has fixed that, don't know).
But yeah, once CFW is installed on your PSP you can use any memory stick you want.

Re: Any reason to install Linux?

The biggest problem I have with linux (I run a ubuntu server box, but I know a few people who use ubuntu basically 100% of the time) is playing games on it. Yes you can sometimes get games to work by running them in WINE or following guides out there, but it's a pain in the butt and some games just ...
