Re: Dreamcast On A Plasma Nightmare (help?)
It sounds to me like you have a faulty unit -- I would read Atlona's documentation and contact them for support first to make sure. I've gone through an infuriating number of converters and upscalers and nonsense trying to get my current setup, so I know your pain. The product that you have should ...

Re: Dreamcast On A Plasma Nightmare (help?)
Model number of your Samsung and does it have a direct VGA input? Try testing a laptop directly plugged into the HDTV VGA port and set the PC resolution to 640x480. Some HDTVS do not support the lower resolution of Dreamcast VGA. Its the Samsung Plasma P59D8000. It does have a direct VGA port as do...

Dreamcast On A Plasma Nightmare (help?)
Hey guys. I recently purchased a XRGB Mini which is amazing for all my RGB consoles, but it does not have a VGA input, so I had to go looking for other solutions for my Dreamcast. I purchased the DC VGA cable, which works fine when plugged into a computer monitor. However in order to have it upscale...

Re: My list of Jaguar games worth owning
Agree with all these. If you like puzzle/Lemming type games. Dino Dudes is actually quite fun. Ultra Vortek doesn't use 6 button controller IIRC. I believe the games that benefit from it most are Fight for Life, Primal Rage, & AvP (strafing). The Pro controller benefits all games greatly becaus...

Re: My list of Jaguar games worth owning
I've never had any real interest in the Jaguar outside of the AvP game I've always wanted to play. Most of the other games I see on lists that I'd want to play are available on other systems. So for the price it goes for, I don't see myself ever buying one unless I just get lucky and come across a ...

Re: Anyone else out there collect actual arcade machine figh
Thats awesome guys. I would love a Neo-Geo machine, as I adore the Samurai Shodown/King of Fighters series (not to mention all the awesome shooters on the system).

Re: Anyone else out there collect actual arcade machine figh
I confess, though I want some arcade titles, I wouldn't want the arcade version of Soul Caliber, if only because the Dreamcast version improves upon it so much. Dead or Alive ++ I might go for, though... Well its Soul Calibur II, if that matters. I had that for GameCube a while back and remember it...

Re: Anyone else out there collect actual arcade machine figh
It would be awesome to have at least one in your home. But for most of us, it would be too big. If you have ample space in your man cave, then go for it! Another issue is maintaining your arcade machine. I would have no clue on how to fix one if it broke. For now, I'll just stare in jealous silence...

Re: My list of Jaguar games worth owning
That list just about covers it, although I did think Ultra Vortek and Primal Rage CD were good fighters for the system. The key is using the Jaguar "Pro" controller. Not only did it have 6 buttons, but more importantly the D-pad is 100x more responsive/accurate and makes playing fighters o...
