Re: Any advice on how to fix a skipping DVD?
If something like a microfiber cloth and a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water don't clean it enough, you're safest bet is to take it to a local game/movie store and use their industry grade disc repair machines. Stores usually charge between .50 - $3.50 for disc repair, but they do a great job. T...

Any advice on how to fix a skipping DVD?
One thing that's always irked me about DVD's is their tendency to be scratched and skip and that thought has been at the top of my head recently. Last night I bought a Widescreen LE DVD of Star Wars: A New Hope from a local disc replay store, however Disc 2(the one with the theatrical film) has been...

I actually got it with a new 72 pin connector. Do I need to clean the connector?

NES graphic issue
My NES has been really weird lately. Whenever I boot up a game, it always has glitched graphics. It has happened with multiple games, so I feel it is a connection issue... This only started happening when I put it in this other TV I own. I can provide photos of the title screens of two games- Super ...

Re: Will the NES Zapper work on this TV?
Well NES Zappers are cheap. Why not just grab one and see? That's really the only way you're gonna know for sure. As far as input lag goes, grab the manual off Vizio's site and/or look through the settings menu on the TV and see what "enhancements" you can turn off or if there's a "g...

Will the NES Zapper work on this TV?
I have a Vizio HDTV that was manufactured in Feburary 2007, right before CRTs stopped production. I want to get a Zapper but I've heard about them and HDTVs and I hope mine doesn't have any input lag. Will it work?

Re: Should I get a new SNES?(ac concern)
My oldest SNES has that entire center plastic pin missing. It's been like that for YEARS and it's always worked fine. I'm mainly worried about a fire or electrical incident breaking out. The odds of an electrical fire with 8.5 watts of potential power is beyond low. The biggest worry would be short...
