Re: Jak 3 any better than Jak II?
Jak 3 has a lot more driving, so if you hated that in 2, you'll dislike it in 3. I'm glad people agree that II is a pretty poor game, it's got really uneven difficulty and the checkpoints are way too far apart. I really only like the first game in this series. This series didn't know what it wanted ...

having issue with lag in SNES game??? (Secret of Mana)
Hi there, Booted up SoM on my SNES and realized it had some lag, in bursts. I'll be playing and it'll skip a bunch of frames then go back to normal, but it seems to happen in the same points, almost like a CD game or PC game loading the next level when you step over a line. Never had this problem be...

Re: Need help with PS1 lasers and recalibration!
Name? Here's the guy I bought from that test the lasers before shipping. m Worth noting I still use the separately purchased (from him) extention ribbon cable lol. When I played laser PS1 merry-go-round, found out the connectors varied by laser model (location & length). So not all was lost. He...

Re: Need help with PS1 lasers and recalibration!
Those replacement lasers are terrible. I have a 1001 model PS1 with a bad drive (uses the same model laser assembly that the PSone does) and got one of those Chinese replacement lasers for it, and it never worked. I was talking about it with another RB member (this was years ago) and he told me tha...

Need help with PS1 lasers and recalibration!
Hi everyone, I have two PSones that have lasers that are struggling to read discs, I suspect both of the factory lasers are out of calibration. I also ordered two replacements from ebay, not sure how good they are, but I think they also need calibration. I don't have an oscilloscope, and I've worked...

Re: PSone Dual Shock Analog Light Not Staying On
I've had that issue with one of my controllers. I just assumed it was a bad connection somewhere and switched to another controller. Not very helpful but at least you're not the only person who's experienced it! Identified the problem, part of the cable is damaged. Close to the controller itself. I...

PSone Dual Shock Analog Light Not Staying On
Hey all, weird issue with this controller, the analog light will turn off randomly and no longer accept inputs. Happens on console and with my USB adapter. Anyone had this issue before? I've cleaned the inner PCB board and cleaned that input sheet that receives the button presses, but not sure where...

Re: Anyone own a 3d printer? Need a case for GBS-C!
Congrats on the succesfull mod. I haven't had a chance to put mine together yet. I don't have a 3D printer, but I had a case for my GamePi15 kit printed up by these guys m They did a great job and the price was very fair IMO. Winning response! Local library had a printer and I sent it over to them....

Anyone own a 3d printer? Need a case for GBS-C!
Hi there! So, I finally finished my first-ever mod project and I gotta say, as someone who just learned soldering and spent over a month learning about this project from Rama, I want to explore other mods with my other retro consoles. That said, I need a case to put the GBS-C in, there are some blue...
