wow havent seen one of those in a while. played with them a few times when I was younger. quite nice joysticks and I wouldnt hesitate to buy it... they use to advertise monthly in EGM.

+1 to coding it entirely by yourself. start with something simple, like making a version of pong. get compfortable with working with code. It's actually a bit more responsive on my PSP JNES Emu than on the PC. Maybe it's just having proper buttons and a d-pad? I'm gonna finish the game (using save states) but it's not turning out to be the most enjoyable gaming experience haha. maybe, and maybe its an improvement over the NES. I dunno...

is Toe Jam and Earl on virtual console yet? if not, thats going to be a price limiting game. +1 to what I'm hating: the controls.

I know for their day they were quite good. But they do not hold up well to the test of time. I found them frustrating and was unwilling to play it for more than a half hour.

graphics for such an early NES game are quite good and yes the music is fantastic.

Just imagine then, if games developers/programmers had this amount of memory available to them all those years ago, how much greater the (already great) games would have been!!! Goes to show that all this extra space for games doesn't guarantee they'll be any good! I just sold my PS3 and got a Neo ...
