In reverse order - this month I have purchased: - Sam and Max Episode 1 (Signed up Gametap just for it) - Shin Megami Tensei: Raidou Kuzuhona - Okami - Yakuza - Shadow of the Colossus All have been completed save for Shin Megami Tensei which I should have beat in a few days (About 20 hours in)

In commemoration of the final issue of Computer Gaming World before the name change to Games for Windows, the CGW crew has uploaded the first 100 issues of the magazine in PDF format.

Considering the magazine started in 1981, there is a ton of cool retro stuff here.

Nah Gamespot liked it because Greg (the reviewer) loves hard ass games. I have had the import for a couple of weeks and it IS a good game, but it has a huge learning curve and even once you get over it, is hard as hell. It is by no means for everyone. Is it TRULY hard? A lot of reviews love to flin...

John Romero´s daikatana..is the worst case of that I'll take American McGee over John Romero any day. John Romero got lucky by working with the right guys (mainly Carmack). He has a terribly case of ego-itis. Yeah but if you read Masters of Doom, he really did contribute ALOT to the original id/Apo...

I don't think his (or any other developer) name needs to be associated with the title of the game. I mean developer recognition is great and in many cases (David Jaffe, Time Schaffer, Hideo Kojima) well deserved, but it does not need to be in the title.
