Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Funny to feel nostalgic for a system I never owned while current, and impossible of me to play Jet Set Radio without thinking of Racketboy I think the reason for this is that the Dreamcast encompasses that 97-2000 period very well in all forms from hardware to software. It really feels like from th...

Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Hey guys, its been a while! Recently acquired a dc, had one years ago when I first started collecting amidst an influx of other things, so never gave it the attention it deserves. Different now though, and I can finally get why people stare at it wistfully with thoughts of what if. Funny to feel nos...

Re: Instructions for the old Saturn mod chip
Hey Ziggy, Thanks, that actually answers my question.. I only have one wire attached the board so I think that means I probably used the A+B method and I can simply remove the chip and not have to mess with with anything else awesome. I do seem to remember stressing over some tiny soldering on this,...

Instructions for the old Saturn mod chip
Hey guys, been a while I'm considering getting one of the latest chips for my Saturn as the current one has become mildly unreliable. It was one purchased from here, there were two options depending on the exact board, one of which required cutting a trace or lifting a pin or something... obviously ...

Re: Gaming while clinically depressed
It was a giant black hole for me... added a bunch of stress from a variety of sources, such as total immersion, OCD levels trying to 100% everything, OCD levels increased more by the collecting side of things, general feeling of being overwhelmed. So I just stopped and did some other stuff for a whi...

Re: Collectorvision Pheonix Kickstarter
How does this support SNES controllers? I might believe Sega Genesis controllers. I use a Sega controller on Atari 7800 without any trouble. I’m not familiar enough with Colecovision to say if it uses a compatible signal. No it's not normally in anyway compatible, but this device has a pair of stan...

Re: Recommendations for N64 memory pak and Controllers
Nice! I had not seen those.
The Retro fighter has a turbo, so while I want one, I don't be able to use it for Speedrunning as the Perfect Dark guys consider that a TAS, so still on the look out for an answer.

Re: Recommendations for N64 memory pak and Controllers
You make a good point - a non optical wheel stick vs a fucked optical wheel stick... Well the first option has to win doesn't it really. I'm lucky in that I do have a couple of decent original sticks, but the collector in me wants them to stay that way. So I'll get one of the Retro pads for general ...
