I'm not going to give my real name, well, because it's also my screenname. I'm 25, and live in one of the more obscure areas of the east coast. I currently have a degree in Criminal Justice, and I'm still trying to break into law enforcement. Coming from a rural area, I have an interest in firearms ...

PC game pads that actually work?
I have a few SNES Roms on my laptop, and would love to be able to play them without having to use the keyboard. I've been looking at a Logitech Gameaction gamepad, but really don't know much about it. Is this a good one, or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Not really an Ebay purchase, but it's a story related to Ebay. Back in the day, I bought a used copy of Castlevania: SotN from Gamestop for about $10. When I moved, it got boxed up with the rest of my PSX stuff that I had planned on getting rid of. Fast forward a couple years, and I decided to keep ...

Gamerforlife, it's funny you mention the previous generations. It does seem that the 16 bit games have held up better than the 32 bit generation. Kind of like when Mortal Kombat first came out for the consoles. Everyone seemed to be raving about the digitized graphics and the gameplay. It was lauded...

Getting bored with retro gaming?
After spending a bit of money on a Dreamcast and PSX games, I'm finding that I don't even feel like playing them anymore. It's almost like I love the concept of retro gaming, but when it actually comes down to playing them, they don't do a thing for me. One of the things that bugs me is the graphics...

Question about Dreamcast VMU's
I just replaced the batteries in my VMU's, but I've noticed that they don't work once they're taken out of the controller. I was under the impression that they could be used a a portable gaming device as well. Am I missing something?

I just won a Dreamcast with two controllers, vmu's and 4 games (Tomb Raider, Crazy Taxi, and a couple of sports games) off ebay. I can't wait for it to get here. I still regret ever selling mine back in high school. Has anyone been able to find Dreamcast games at Gamestop or EB? The one closest to m...
