Re: Check out our Youtube Channel "Retro Rampage"

We've actually moved to a new channel here: http://www.youtube.com/retrorampagetv

We've got some killer episodes out, and if you don't mind some satire, sarcasm, and ridiculous cultural references, you'll more than likely enjoy what we've got.

Re: Want to mod an oXbox. Anyone willing to lend a hand?

An HDD swap and softmod are both really easy to do, even without the technical know-how I wrote a guide on how to softmod an xbox, and as for the HDD swap, I believe there's a thread around here somewhere for that, if not, there are relatively easy instructions on the web. I'd do it for you, but I'm...

Online Multiplayer Doom

First let me preface this real quick - I'm not talking about hooking up some 28.8k modems and playing direct connection here Doom/Doom 2 is easily one of the best FPS games ever, it took the blueprints from earlier godfathers of the genre, including id's own Wolfenstein, put it in the Awesomewave ov...

Re: recently received android tablet with built in controls

This reminds me of those GP2X Wiz' that were going around a while back, they we're like the size of a closed NDS and ran Linux, you could have all kinds of emulators on them, but this thing you've got here is a portable retro gaming beast. Nice find! Might have to snag one of these bad boys.

Re: A genre I never gave a chance...

DotA (Defense of the Ancients) -- I remember this; a WarCraft3 mod that became LoL. Let's not forget that Defense of the Ancients came from Aeons of Strife in Starcraft! Sorry, sore subject for me - always loved Starcraft way more than Warcraft 3 - and everyone hails Warcraft for the "DotA&quo...

Re: Light Guns: Which and Why?

I did get some answers in between those in-depth explanations about micro-moderating and what I'll write off as a mini flame-war, although more polite than I'd expect anywhere else But thank you everyone for answering my original question. And not to be cliche, but all I had to do was read between t...

Seen it in person - truly killer tattoo, the amano artwork is fantastic (duh) and the watercolor style translates extremely well into the tattoo, the ultimate tribute.

Light Guns: Which and Why?

I'd like to venture into the world of Light Gun games, considering there are many good games that use light guns, and I'm really looking to play games like House of the Dead, Lethal Enforcers, Virtua Cop, Yoshi's Safari, Falcon's Revenge, Time Crisis, etc. But are there any specific light guns you g...
