Sounds like you've got the same problem. My case won't sit snugly with the chip inside, hence I can't run it unless it's opened because the CD doesn't sit right in the spindle. Hmmm... Weren't there ports of RE2 and 3, too? I don't know if those made it to the PS2. Is this a joke? Those games were ported to PS2 when PS2 launched. Backwards compatibility, dude... No, I meant that they were full-on ports, not exactly a remake, but kinda like MGS: Twin Snakes, without major changes....

The chip seems a tad warm, but maybe that's just my hands, I don't know. Should it feel kinda hot, or just warm? And where would I feel heat, near the power line?
