Re: Multi-Player Modes You Wish Were Alive
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory There's still a community but in the US it's far too small to support competitive play anymore. In my opinion, no FPS has matched it in team-based play. On a somewhat related note, I was bored scrolling through my steam library and fired up Ricochet and actually found an...

Re: Next Gen Opinion?
PS4 and Xbox One being region free offer a HUGE advantage for a gamer like me over the Wii U. I am interested in the PS4 because Sony always gets a lot games that appeal to me on their consoles. Interested in the Xbox One for some exclusives and Kinect games. Neither has a great deal of games to of...

Re: Has this gen changed your gaming habits and views?
I don't know about my habits, but my preferences have, surely. I think really, I just avoid games renown for solely the story (ie. Uncharted, while the story is interesting I just can't get past the tedious gameplay) and go for ones that offer some form of pure gameplay and challenge, now. And while...

np. I'm still waiting to know if a GBC will play original GB games in color or B & W? I'm starting to give up hope of getting help on that one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Color#Color_palettes_used_for_original_Game_Boy_games Pretty sure that's right, but I haven't had a GBC in years.

Re: Best dorm room console?
Just to add in my opinion, I'd go with a modded Oxbox as mentioned before. A buddy of mine had one and it got used a lot. Playing Halo 1/2 on the dorm's LAN against other rooms made for some good times, and a healthy bit of competition, although I'm sure most campuses have moved onto the newest one ...

Grandia 2. Great game must of had close to 50 hours into it. I knew i was close to the end. Stop playing for a bit then my nephew accidently deleted my save! I just didn't have the will power to play the entire game again. Similar thing happened to me, except my DC died, and eventually I sold off m...

Re: Games Beaten 2013
I've been slacking off on actually finishing games this year, but so far: 1/27 - Mutant Mudds (3DS) - Incredible game, ended up finishing it over 2 nights. The hidden rooms get to be brutal, but apart from one stage with a trap at the very end, it's never unfair. 1/28 - Gunman Clive (3DS) - Fun game...

Re: The Top 5 games that defined your childhood
This has been an interesting thread to read through. As for myself: 1. Tetris (Gameboy) - Was the first game/system I ever owned. Dreamed of falling blocks for months. 2. TMNT IV (SNES) - I never actually owned a copy of this, but my parents probably bought it 3 times over with how many times I rent...

Re: Is Fire Emblem Awakening out of stock forever?
Newegg.com has copies available for pre-order (release date there says 2/19). So, I'm guessing stores will be getting more stock then.

Re: Why do people watch Game Streams?
It is sorta funny that OOT can be beaten in like 11 minutes if you use a weird glitch. They should be counted as a seperate thing though. For whatever reason, it seems like non-tool assisted, non-glitch abusing straightforward actual speed runs are very rare. Yup, but these people think they are so...
