Re: Summer Games Challenge 2025 - GET EQUIPPED

Phantasy Star is definitely not the most mechanically complex 8-bit RPG, but the story is on the better side and the graphics are unmatched and music is pretty top tier for that generation.

Re: Anime Thread

I'd love to see an anime take on Greg Rucka's Lazarus graphic novel series.

The PS2 controller is better for fighting games than the Saturn controller.
D-pad is just as good. Shoulder buttons are easier to press simultaneously with face buttons.
Wow, that is indeed quite a hot take.

SAINTS ROW: THE THIRD I'm still in Chapter 2 of the game, doing quests for new supporting characters that unlock activities. Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

Many (many) years ago I had a chance to watch a couple Chaplin silent films with live organist accompaniment in an old theater, and the experience was actually pretty awesome. It's fun to think that the experience was similar to how those films might have been experienced back in the day.

Re: Anime Thread

I think I saw a remake of Bubblegum Crisis. Tokyo 2040 or something like that. I guess I should check out the original 2040 is VERY 90s, and the original Crisis is VERY 80s. 2040 is definitely more linear around the central storyline, whereas the original Crisis is a bit more edgy and resembles a l...
