Re: May Together Retro: Sega Dreamcast & Ports

Since this quarantine has taken place, i've actually dedicated a bit more time than usual to my Dreamcast library. Played all 3 installment's of the RE series on the platform. Currently close to completing 3 (I was playing it alongside the new Remake of RE3). I'll always have a reason to pop in game...

Re: Who is excited for streets of rage 4?

So I picked up the digital version on release since I couldn't wait any longer for a potential physical release (and apperantly there are multiple physical releases on the way -_-). I've been sinking a lot of hours into the game. And I mean ALOT. Just getting accustomed to the new mechanics, unlocki...

Pretty excited. Waited well over 2 decades for this game to see the light of day. Looking forward to it.

Re: Virtua Fighter 2 or Fighters Megamix?

I'm a going to assume the digital versions that were released on XBLA, and PSN from last gen. There is also a PS2 Japan only release of VF2, and tho it does visually recreate the Model 2 experience better than the Saturn port, its littered with a few framerate issues which IMO ruin the experience. V...

Re: Have some of the usual members left Racketboy forums ?

Life just gets in the way. Video games are still a very important part of my life (it's even my Full time Job, which could also be the problem lol!), but honestly I rarely have a desire to have a discussion about em, let alone have time to play em. It's not just this site, I'm just not active at any...

Resurrecting the old DC collection thread with some new additions. Another console variant case, import and indie games. It's certainly been a while.

Re: Maybe the Best thing you can do for your Dreamcast...

While i'm still more partial towards outputing Dreamcast with a pure VGA analog signal, i do conceed the convenience of using HDMI, especially these days, with more modern sets abandoning the VGA input. I've been using this new product from Pound tech. which is a VGA to HDMI converter cable all roll...

Help with Dreamcast system

So i recently aquired a Dreamcast system from a local seller. It's a Japanese system (or at least most of it is anyway), but it can only run US GD-rom games. Even more strange is that the unit lacks a serial barcode as well the manufacture label located at the bottom of the unit. The casing is JPN, ...

Illbleed is a true gem on the Dreamcast. Certainly an aquired taste tho.
