Check out Madden '03. It's as dated as hell, but I remember it always being my favorite. '05 wasn't bad either. Any later than that and it's just...gah. Lol. You might also want to check out the NCAA games.

Bloons Tower Defense 4 is pretty sick. You can play it online (just use Google), but the iPhone version lags far less.

In my experience, the PSP emulators are actually stellar. No issues at all, except with MAME. Can't get that sucker to work.
