My vote is for the Xbox One S controller. I like just about everything about it. It fits well in my hands, I love the texturing on the sticks and the shape of the triggers is great. But most of all it just feels well built to me. It has a weight and quality feel to it that the DS4 just doesn't have....

I've been lucky enough to never have to play with a controller, so the maracas are really my only experience with the game. At the moment I can perfect just about any song on normal mode, but occasional hiccups with the maracas make a perfect run pretty improbable for me. I'm around 95% on hard mode...
