Re: Games Beaten 2025

I knocked out two more BurgerTime games while traveling through the Japanese countryside. Are you pairing that with city pop (if you're outside Tokyo/Yokohama or Osaka) or koto music (outside Kyoto/Nara). BurgerTime Deluxe is a pretty great GameBoy game. It keeps the arcade original’s gameplay, but...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts

Writing mini-reviews for classic games and leaving behind low scores has had me worrying you all think I'm a grump. Okay, perhaps I am. But I really do love a lot of games. I have a top 250 games, soon to be updated to a top 500 this Summer. So if anybody here thinks I'm a negative Nancy, here are ...

Makes me wonder how many spam links might have been edited in days, weeks, or months after posting.

Re: Statistics software for kitesurf

Hey everyone (especially riders)! :) NGL, this is an odd thing to post about on a classic video gaming forum. You've only got two posts and they're both on this same topic. Are you lost? Do you have anything to contribute related to the forum's theme? Nothing odd about it. It's just a spammer. Even...

Can't really help with FFXI, but always happy to help. And honestly, glad to see others make the switch, so if you have questions, observations, or fun stories, I'm all for it.

Re: Gamer confessions

Ho, we're bringing this thread back? Well, all right: I don't follow games news anymore. At this point, I read and look at articles and titles people point me towards, and I will sometimes go and search the depths of Steam, but otherwise I'm just not interested in hearing about a lot of the hype fr...

That Jungle Hunt cart must be from some rare edition. ;P

Nice collection, opa. Have you been playing them much these days? Any favorites rising to the top?

Re: Shaken, not stirred

If you consider goofiness a negative, the Bond series might not be for you. Every once in a while they try to get gritty, mining the supposed psychological depths of the character, but then a few years later he's driving an invisible car in an ice castle. That's all right with me, but your mileage ...

Re: Linux

Edit: LMAO, I just had about one of the most Linux moments possible where I blew away my entire desktop following this guide at the optional instruction to remove the maliit framework and keyboard, since they're supposed to be for mobile deployments. I guess I'll need to pay a bit more attention, b...
