We have a group of friends that get together once a month to play board games. We are total nerds but I do think that there is a different social dynamic when playing a board game verse video game. Settlers is a good one - addicting. But my all time favorite is and will always be - Sorry.

I never really appreciated super mario until I was an adult. My favorite as a kid was donkey kong. After playing Mario wii version with my wife last year - I was reintroduced to the awesomeness of marioland. I still like the donkey kong better myself... but probably just for nostalgia purposes.

I swear, just seeing a game of tetris has a calming effect on me. That guy is my hero. Playing game after game of Tetris with my brother when I was little is really what got me into video games. To this day I still love that original version best of all.

I was a bit disappointed myself. Only because I didn't educate myself before I bought it and had gotten my hopes up for something a little different. Hopefully it will become a collectible though.
