Re: amateur space footage

Aww, that was epic! I remember seeing a similar project on stumbleupon some time ago. I always wanted to try it, but I never found the time. D: Did anyone else get freaked out/dizzy when it started flipping after reaching space? ahah, I guess I would make a terrible astronaut, heh. I lol'd at the &q...

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

I've been rewatching all of the Ingmar Bergman films that me and a friend own together, so that's pretty much been my life for the last few days. Actually, the last movie I actually watched was the japanese horror/comedy "Hausu" which was super awesome. I just heard that Criterion is relea...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Frown: I woke up late today, effectively missing my first class entirely, and the first part of my second.

Smile: I checked my email soon after waking, to find that both classes had been CANCELLED!!!

Re: Hardware Vs Emulators

Dunno why I'm coming off as elitist. I tried to be clear that these are my reasons for preferring hardware. You may have different habits or concerns that lead to a different conclusion. There's no right answer here. Though, I still feel that digging through a box of carts with a friend is a shared...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"

Hmm, I'm not too good about finding deals, but I recently bought Earthbound and Breath of Fire carts together for less than 40$. From what I've seen online, that appears to be a pretty good bargain! haha. Part of the Earthbound sticker has been slightly damaged, but other than that it's in decent co...

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!

Hey! I just joined here not long ago, after being introduced by a friend. I'm a computer science major at university, I play tons of music, mainly electronic lately, ambient, house, weirder stuff, but music nonetheless. And, I love learning tons of languages! I'm looking forward to getting to know e...

Re: Hardware Vs Emulators

I was going to say pretty much exactly what Irixith said... I've used both hardware and emulation extensively, and emulation just has way more possibilities! I like being able to bring my laptop and snes usb controllers to campus so I can play tetris attack, mario kart, etc. with all my friends betw...
