Wow. I didn't know that this version existed. I also didn't know that there was a Super Famicom port.

But yeah, Sengoku isn't great. I've only played the original. In many ways, including the (imo) clunky controls, it felt a lot like Ninja Combat, another mediocre Neo Geo brawler that came out the year before. Ninja Combat was developed by ADK, but they feel so similar to me that I wouldn't be surprised if they're running on the same engine.
Systems: TI-99/4a, Commodore Vic-20, Atari 2600, NES, SMS, GB, Neo Geo MVS (Big Red 4-slot), Genesis, SNES, 3DO, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GBA, GCN, NDSi, Wii

The SNES version uses the skeleton of the arcade game but turns it in to a traditional beat em up. Still even with that it is not great.

An average fighting game that tries to be unique but is boring regardless.

There is a decent game buried under a number of annoying flaws. It can be fun but you will overlook a lot to find it.

Pretty ambitious for a movie licensed game but the changes make it worse than the Commodore 64 original.

Not the greatest arcade port but a decent racing game on its own.
