Do they have a real account system yet?

It's Gato Roboto, and it's fantastic.

^Good to hear.

I genuinely don't know how to feel about that. Lol. Can't say I'm surprised. Are the purchases not tied to the system again, at least?

You can move purchases between systems. It's not quite seamless, but Nintendo has anticipated people having more than one Switch this time around. They introduced that capability with the release of the Switch Lite.

has anyone used those Hori Daemon X Machina controller thingies for Switch yet? They look cool, and like they'd be super comfortable for FPS etc.

I think I'm either gonna wait on the holiday deals or see if they're gonna do an Animal Crossing bundle. I do want to get a tv-out model for couch co-op. From what little experience I have with a Switch I'm not impressed with the controls so I'm not too keen on the handheld only model. I may consider the pro controller whenever I get a unit

Don't "consider" it - GET a Pro Controller. Trust me. It's such a game changer. It's such a fantastic controller it really makes the Switch feel like a 'real console' while playing on a TV.

Or at least get one of the PowerA wireless ones that are similar, as they are damn close and a bit cheaper.

I'll have to get one then. I'd need a second controller for good co-op any way.

All right, so you guys know me, and some of you are pretty sure of my tastes. I own one game for my Switch: Breath of the Wild. What else should I own? What else is on the console that I should be interested in?

Games I would definitely recommend for you, based on your Backloggery:

Bloodstained
Dragon Quest XI
Gato Roboto
Link's Awakening
