I agree, but I think it has the best cover art of any SEGA CD game.

If you like cute-em-ups (a sparse genre) it's still a gem IMHO. Not worth the price of admission by a long shot, of course.
But good or not, it is still a lot of fun from what I've tried.

I got lucky and did a best offer of 65 bucks shipped for a Jp copy mere moments after mine sold.

My local video game store had some Sega CD games, so I asked if there was a Sega CD console in stock and he looked at me like an idiot and said "those are ultra rare and usually go for 400 dollars, we never had one".

HAHAHAHAH! I see them all the time out here, but they are model 2 ones and I have a model 1 genesis with a now fried Sega CD. Need to get that fixed some day.

played some Sol-Feace last night. Always love this game, but I'm not good at it. I died on the 2nd boss last night. Pretty weak. Though I'm not sure if I've ever beaten the 3rd stage now that I think about it?

Eternal champions on the Sega cd is an insanely good 2d fighter and has the most violent fatalities of any game, only rivaled by the modern mortal kombat games. Seriously it is fucked up.

It is funny you say this, I just picked up Sewer Shark and Double Switch today with some Christmas money, along with donkey kong jungle beat on the gamecube. I am starting to kick my fmv collecting into overdrive. I think I want to genuinely attempt to collect and beat every fmv game released. The stuff is almost always inexpensive.
