I realize it's trite, but once you play Bejeweled it will have you. Forever.

Mr. Driller NGC was mentioned. Everyone who plays it falls in love.

Apparently Little Magic derived from this one puzzle game that has a million variations. Hobie-Wan told me about it, but I forget the name of the game.
This is the type of thing I absolutely adore about videogames. Now I've got the overwhelming urge to go wiki all the info I can on these games, then find them, and play the shit out of them.
Please, someone go get Hobie to come in here and tell us what game this is. I must know.
Also, is there a Together Retro on Tetris Attack? Because there should be...

Puzzle Quest. It's Bejeweled + RPG and it is addictive as hell.

Sokoban. There are tons of versions of the game available for many platforms. Boxxle on GB is one with a different title. Mole Mania for GB is another fun variation on the theme.
Shanghai II - Dragon's Eye has both a familiar tile matching game and the Dragon's Eye game which is a fun variation where one person is trying to fill up a board and the other is trying to match and remove tiles.

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but basically every title in Nintendo's Art Style series is fantastically addictive. Theres 5 on Wiiware and 7(?) on DSiWare.
