So according to IGN, the whole real money in the game is not going to happen.

I for one am happy and can't wait until the announce a release date. Better start saving up for a laptop/pc since I gave mine away

It's time to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.

The trailer looks ridiculously cheesy and cheap, which makes me wonder how well done the actual game is this time around. Seriously, that voice over sounds like they wrote the script on the back of a napkin at the bar, loaded up fiverr on their ipads and chose the first male voice over gig they could find.

You do realize the entire FFVII script sounds like it was written on the back of a napkin.

It has arrived:

EDIT:
Oh God, I read that it has Securom DRM and that it still has that horrible MIDI soundtrack from the PC release rather than the superior Playstation soundtrack (or any number of the amazing Final Fantasy VII soundtracks that they could have put in its place).
Yuck. I guess I won't be buying this one. I think I'd rather just play the PS1 version in an emulator or my PS2.

I never had any complaints about the MIDI, but I always had a Soundblaster Live.

Mods are pretty great, though. I'm sure replacing the soundtrack isn't that big of a deal.

Man, I still use my Sound Blaster Live. Modern sound cards still haven't caught up!
