Thanks.

Anyone else have any feedback on the Indie list?

The first post has been updated for physical releases. Once we spruce up the Indie list we'll start breaking down region availability on XBLA.

Big ups for the list, everyone. I'm interested in going ahead and trying to obtain some of the japanese exclusive shmups. Can anyone suggest some of the non bullet hell vertical shmups similar to something like Raiden or the Aleste games (perhaps a top 5)? I already own Raiden Fighters.

Also, has Ginga Force & Eschatos Wonder Pack always been $90 or has it just inflated in price as it's getting a bit harder to find? I really want to play Eschatos and, being a sucker for soundtracks and other shmups, am thinking that buying this bundle may be worth it. If I were to own only 1 import Japanese Shmup, would Eschatos and Ginga be a reasonable pick?

One of my favorite threads ever. Anything to update in the original post?

Am looking for feedback on these two:

KOF: Sky Stage
Neo Trouble Witches

Any good? Worth the $9.99 price tag (these never go on sale)?

Sky Stage is kinda like the Shikigami series but not as good. It's a novel game, but average at best.

Shooting Love 200X was a surprisingly XBLA (US) release - it's $19.99 but contains a Shmup Skills Test which was intriguing on paper. Not a lot of reviews out there but the one I did find was pretty down on this.

Bummer, looks like Trouble Witches Neo is no longer available on XBLA.

Found me a copy of Raiden IV for my 360 this past weekend. Pretty happy to finally have it in my 360 shmup library.

Raiden IV is my favourite in the series. I mean I love them all, but IV probably gets the most play. Slightly.

I'm hooked on IV right now, stage 5 is so ridiculous, I'm not sure if I'll be able to 1cc this one this year. On top of that, it has two loops [FLUSHED FACE]
