Xenoblade games esp Xenoblade X has a very Phantasy Star vibe to it

Mario Kart 8 took many ideas from Sonic Racing Transformed
Astral Chain seems like a game SEGA would have made if they could (AC while developed by PG, it is a Nintendo IP)
Splatoon tone feels a lot like Jet Set Radio
