What don't you like?
Lords Of Thunder.
Why not? It's better than Deathsmiles.

I applaud your hilarious attempt to troll. But to elaborate, Lords Of Thunder would be awesome if it were a game where all you did was listen to it.

OK. Put in a few runs and got to Stage 3 and just shy of 400k. My initial thoughts are it's ok.
Music is awesome, and the control is tight. So far, my biggest bitch with it is the lack of time you have to recover from a hit. It really can go south in a hurry because of that. I would probably prefer if you just died and respawned.

Er, anyway, I've been slammed this week and had almost no time to play. I'll try to have a score up soon.

Finally got a run in. Good starting score but this is a game I know I can 1CC so I am going to push for that before the week is out...

Scoreboard updated
I really should've bought a controller for this week - playing on wiimote is ugly. I agree, Donnie, the most frustrating thing is the way you can take consecutive/multiple hits; particularly on bosses. Some of those seeker bullets that follow you and just ram you, come right back, come right back...we have to re-train our brains to not count on a second of invincibility or respawn.
I'm struggling w/3rd boss but am finally getting screen pics now - not a hi-score, but close. Hopeful to have time tomorrow or Saturday to hit stage 4.

Bradford and Michael-san,
Been super busy. I'll have a score after I figure out how to get it running.

I felt right at home with this one. Old school goodness.
530,000 - ExedExes - Model 3 - Stage 4 - Earth - Turbo CD
(had to do a Windows screenshot as TurboEngine's screenshot keys weren't working)

That screenshot is of course from the demo following my death. I just didn't bother cropping it.
297,200 - CFFJR - Team 7 - Stage 2 - Water Armor - Turboduo (emulated)
I'm playing badly and it bugs me. I keep falling apart at the bosses.
This version isn't that much harder than the sega cd, and I should really be making better progress.
Exed, I'm having the same issue with Turboengine's screenshot keys. It'll work if you do it with the mouse from the tools menu though.
