On the Wii you can hit the home button to pause the screen when you die. I haven't tried this yet; hopefully the pause menu won't cover up the score. But at least it will give you a second to grab pen and paper.

My team's name is in the works! Hopefully we hear from our other team member soon! So far, we are sitting on Team 8bit Meat Lazers!

If only we were playing Cho Aniki.

Lords of Thunder / Winds of Thunder

On PSN or no? I don't see it on the website.

Gladly.

Mushi Futari, as you may remember, was our SOTM in March. Easily attainable for regular MAME.

Lords of Thunder is *not* an arcade title, it's original form was on the TurboDuo. It's also on Sega CD, PSN and VC. Best way to emulate would be to grab TurboEngine, the system card files, and a mounting program like VirtualCloneDrive, that's my setup for when we played Ys @ TR.

Gunbird 2 is MAME-able with no issues.

Under Defeat, being a NAOMI title is a bit an issue in MAME as the emulation isn't perfect or even passable, plus the hassle of finding the CHD image file if it's even out there. You're better off getting a physical copy.

All ROMs/ISOs can be had at emuparadise.me, type them in the search box.

As always, those who need assistance getting these games to run, shoot me a PM.

Thanks for the infos. Grabbed the files for Lords of Thunder and Gunbird 2. I've got Mushi Futari on 360 and UD on the NAOMI so I'm good to go with hardware/software for all 4 games :)

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

I looked today at PSN and none of my searches for Lords, Thunder, Winds, or combinations of those found the game. I don't think it's on there. The Wii Virtual Console may be the next best thing.

I just need to get Mushi Futari and I will be all set.

Well, I'm ok with our Team name being Team 5, gives us a excuse to use this image.

Haha, yes!! As someone who plays in a band named the Steve GütenBAND, I'm absolutely into the Short Circuit reference!

Here's a banner I threw together:
