So much cool stuff to do in the 2600 port -

- Exploiting some sort of bug in the Mountain Zone involving the E-pods to have extra power-time left in the first Rainbow Zone. I think it involves shooting as many Harley rockets as you can in a short period of time, something about ending the wave early before the next E comes out, because the wave won't end until the E leaves the screen, allowing you to hang back and take it!

- Shooting through the cracks in the Stripe Zone to take out the forcefields and a lot more

- Seeing if you can take out all the Romeda rockets in the Bleak Zone after the snakes without missing one

- Holding that one shot to destroy the Gond at the very last second for big points.

Vanguard II dropped the ball big time. That's pretty obscure too. I know of only one port on the PSP (SNK Arcade Classics 0). Could be included on the list!

Sideline (PC-DOS, Union Systems/EMAG Software, 1996)

A long-lost PC shmup, seemingly developed in Taiwan, which also got a European release, but...only in Poland.

Anyway, thanks to some sterling detective work by folks over on shmups forum, a demo version was unearthed, and eventually a full version. No links for the full version, but you can check out the demo if you go to the thread...

Heads-up! The original producer of the game was tracked down and he gave us permission to distribute the game's full version, on the condition that no profit is made from it. So now everybody can enjoy it.

Mike got really really obsessed w/ UD for a while there. He was something like Top 10 in the US if I recall.
