Ok, broke free for 15 minutes, first 2 runs were duds and suicided on 1-1, 3rd run was promising but fizzled, last run was solid, got to 1-4 boss, but no bombs and last life, wasn't enough. Had him down to his last legs of his last from, but wasn't to be...yet.

Plowed through the 1-4 wall, and as usual, the euphoria lasted 11 seconds.

Stage 5 was like  I wish I'd recorded an inp file, as there were some crazy dodges in there.

Tyranix95> Since that's an MVS score, I'm assuming it's Strikers 1945 Plus?

"EXEDEXES, TEAR DOWN THAT WALL!"

History was made today people. Long the bane of one shmup fan's existence, there is life after 1-4! I took the Psycho Ball to the Psikyo Wall! The fabled Psikyo 1-4 wall was found to have a structural weakness which I, ExedExes, have discovered! The way through was by the very first Strikers 1945! I used my long standing favorite, the P-51 to expose it. The loop was a good one, with the Air Fortless being completed first, but the unfortunate circumstance was having to take on the Fling Battleship as the final stage this time. The charge shot prevailed as it moved forward to take out all the crazy shot spam, and the bombs finished the boss off. My victory was short lived, as I only managed to survive about 30 seconds in the "SAMSON" stage. Plus, I was not paying attention to medals as I should, so my score only had a minor 13K increase.

ExedExes - 373,300 - 1-5 - P-51 - MAME

Feeling recharged by this latest experience, I decided to give 1945 Plus another try. No progress, but a better score, and one that is an interesting number.

ExedExes - 400,000 - 1-4- F5U Flying Pancake - MAME

The F5U has a great super shot, without question.

With this latest accomplishment, I have updates for the first AF and Air Gallet too! Posting there now.
