Damn I suck at shmups. But I did my best for one run. First time playing this game in quite a while.

anyone wanna play this? No idea on scoring... Erik got 30M... I'm hitting less than 5M after a few runs. But it's super fun.

I'm completely obsessed w/ this game and will post a score tonight if I get a chance. But, I figured I'd start talking some strategy, even if only w/ myself...
Buttons:
1. Shoot (hold for auto)
2. Anchor
3. Bomb
Characters:
1. Exelica - wide shot, weak
2. Crueltear - focused shot, strong
Medals - You chain em... somehow. Killing enemies gives you medals. Killing enemies when their bullets are on screen cancels them and turns em into even more medals. Medals get sucked to you once you let go of the shot button. Now this is the crazy thing I just learned... medals 'mature.' Meaning, when the first drop they're worth +1, but the longer you leave them on screen the are worth more when you finally grab them. Crazy.
Anchor Shot - You grab enemies and ram or throw them at others for bigger medals. Some enemies you can't grab (non-flying ones?). Also a cool trick: holding down anchor will reveal your tiny hitbox.
Chaining - Don't know. But apparently colliding w/ enemy (no death) will take some medals off yr chain. Dying takes a lot of medals off yr chain. Bombing doesn't effect yr chain.
Bombs - Add 100,000 per each that you have in-stock at the end of a level.
Faintear - Is a hidden boss after the first boss (maybe in other levels too?). I got to her last night by accident. After researching, apparently you see her if you have 3,000 medals by the time you kill the last form of the first boss.
That's all I know (Right Now).

Faintear is indeed in other levels. I'll leave it at that, since I think you are having fun figuring these things out.
I'll have to join in on the fun, this game is pretty neat. A "Swing Em Up" of sorts.

and now I've got another layer of the onion figured out. When you anchor ships, you use them as a shield for bullets (which is why the anchored ship has a lifebar). All the bullets you cancel this way turn into medals!

Ok, this is alright!
I feel like i'm dying sometimes on the first boss, it's like my guy sorta gets stunned, can't shoot, a bullet or two seem to go through me...but they just turn to medals (i'm not holding anything...I don't think). Not sure on this part.
Regarding capture small enemies...so should I drag them through other enemies...or am I able to throw them. It seems like I can throw them, but I don't see them get tossed, rather I see things that in theory are in their path blow up and turn to medals.
The rest i'm starting to get. Huge point possibilities on 3rd stage. Only had 9 mil through 2 stages - tons of big enemies and you can grab most of them - just have to "hold" the capture button longer to gain control of them. Cool game. Best of 2 runs today:

But, if you hold Shot and Anchor then you can swing around and release Anchor to literally throw an enemy. It's crazy.
I've fought Faintear a couple times on St1. She's tough. I beat her once, at the loss of all my bombs. :\
