Haha, figures it will get a disc release a few months after I finally snag a DC LE version without breaking the bank. :P

Very cool though. Glad more people will be able to play it.

Yeah, its nice to get a release of a game that goes for much more than a new release would.

I'll actually be saving money by getting the 360 version (unless the LE is crazy)

I wonder what this will do to the value of mine? So far digital releases don't usually seem to have much impact on prices of physical copies (with a few exceptions), and games like Radiant Silvergun is still hovering around $150-$200 for a minty complete one. I can't think of a recent instance of a pricey older game like this getting a new physical release, though....is there one?

Castle Shikigami 2 still fetches money on the DC.

Same goes for quite a few DC shmups actually, but none that are worth what UD is.

I doubt it'll go down much, if at all.

It will also obviously depend on the quality of the port. For example I know that 360 port of RS isn't quite Saturn-perfect, so us obsessive shmup-purists are more inclined to hang on to the disc...

True. Plus, there is the fact that the DC has the Agetek stick, which a lot of people love, and has VGA output. A lot of people will stick to the DC, even if the 360 port is really nice
