Intriguing, and I see your point. Though a quick look online and that particular stand isn't a whole lot cheaper than the monitor I originally had in mind:

Neo Flex LCD Stand costs 734 Yuan inc. shipping
Whereas
Dell 1913S costs 1080 Yuan inc. shipping

A saving of 346 Yuan (roughly $55), but going with the Neo Flex means I would still have to go out looking for a monitor. Maybe if I can find a suitable second hand one it would make sense.

Plus, the wife has promised me a shiny new toy, no need to pass up on an opportunity!

sorry for necro-ing this topic, sorta, but i have an extra Dell Ultrasharp stand that rotates if anyone is interested. picked up two in the wild today :)

Just wanna say I used to not be able to stand the guy, but Ryan Gosling is actually pretty damn cool.
